Christian Centering Prayer is a method of silent, wordless prayer, that comes out of the Christian contemplative tradition. The practice is based primarily on a classic spiritual text from the 14th century known as the Cloud of Unknowing. In this talk Doug Borgatti shows how the primary effect of centering prayer is to transform the inner structure of our consciousness. In Theosophical terms it helps shift us from the lower mind and its intellectual propensities, to the higher mind where we can access the intuition.
