Chapter 10: Functions of the Causal Body
The higher mental body, which is called the Causal body in theosophical literature, forms the lowest vehicle of the immortal Ego, which endures from life to life and goes through the evolutionary processes in aeons of time. It will thus be seen that the line of demarcation between the lower and the higher mind not only separates these two mental principles but also the lower and the higher Self in us.
